Bantu Knot Out on Me, the Mom.

I want to share with everyone a style I did on myself overnight. I have long hair and wanted to have curls without using heat. I decided one evening, while my hair was damp, to do Two Strand Twist and then twist the Two Strand Twist into Bantu Knots. I secured each knot with a Ouchless Ponytail Holder. I covered my hair with a satin bonnet and in the morning I took them down out of the knots and separated them with a little bit of oil on my fingertips. These (not so great) pictures of the end result.

The curls lasted all day, until I brushed them out. I did not have to use any hairspray. I loved the look of the curls and received many compliments. I have slightly wavy, fine strand, thick, middle to lower back length hair just to give you an idea of my hair type.

Hope you enjoyed seeing how a Bantu Knot Out would look on the type of hair I have.

Until the next time, stay blessed and thank you for stopping by.
