Hair Carnival: Christmas Hair Styles thru the Years

I wanted to share with you all the hairstyles that Des has had through the years at Christmas time. I hope that you enjoy seeing all her different styles through the years. We have not ever really put effort in taking pictures on Christmas because we are usually busy enjoying each other. Since I recently started blogging, taking pictures to share specifically for style purposes was not in my mind.

The picture below is when Des was only 3 weeks old, she was a premmie so she was a wonderful gift.

In the picture below, Des just had a headband on, although you can't see it her hair is pretty long.

On Des' 3rd Christmas, she had her hair parted ear to ear and the top is in a ponytail with three braids coming out. This picture was taken before Des was cut off by the stylist while getting a trim.

This is one of my favorite pictures of Des, her pose is priceless. In this pic, her hair had two ponies when the hair was only pulled part of the way through to create this look. As you can see we have a theme of pink going on, we had a couple of years where this is one of the only colors Des liked.

In this pic Des' hair is finally growing again and we were about to get company so she is ready to go... LOL. Des' hair is in ponytail to the side with finger curls.

Hmmm, don't know what to say about this Christmas picture but in my defense it is really early in the morning and Des' hair has not been done yet. LOL, so it is in a messy ponytail.

I am going to share a picture of Des with her brothers, TL and JC, that was taken either before or after church. Des' hair was parted from ear to ear and put into two ponytails (top and bottom) with two strand twist coming out of them.

The next year Des' hair is in finger curls held back with a white headband.

The next year Des' hair was curled in Shirley Temple curls and pinned back with spin pins. The dress and bolero she is wearing her grandma made for her.

In the next picture, Des' hair had two cornrows across the front and the back of her hair is a bantu knot out.

I hope you enjoyed seeing all the ways that Des has worn her hair for the Holiday season. I hope to share something great with you for this Christmas too. Until the next time... Stay Blessed.

Happy Holidays to You and Yours!
